Victoria Francisca Kim (she, her, hers) is a loud and proud Jersey girl who left the shore for the nation’s capital to earn her B.A. in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at American University. During her years as an undergraduate, she got her first experience in LGBTQ+ activism as a board member of the student-led LGBTQ+ group on campus and has continued this advocacy in her life and career both locally and nationally. Most recently she served as a Field Organizer at the National LGBTQ Task Force, working to restore the right to vote to people in Florida who were formerly incarcerated by training volunteers to canvass and phone bank and our Queer the Census campaign by facilitating workshops for LGBTQ+ folks across the country about the impact of the decennial Census.
In her free time, Victoria likes to curl up with a hot cup of something to read and write, binge watch TV shows seasons at a time, and walk along nature trails.
